ACE Pizza began serving slices at Hackney pub The Pembury Tavern back in 2018. In 2025 the team (led by Rachel Jones) opened their first bricks-and-mortar restaurant, down the road in Victoria Park. ACE Pizza has been dubbed ‘London-style’ pizza, which pairs the chew of Neapolitan dough with the foldability of a New York slice, with dough slow-fermented for 48 hours to achieve that deliciously crispy crust.
